Don't sweat it, Dave. That makes you about average age for and XSive. (I was a junior that year!)

This is a known problem with the software, hopefully it will be corrected in a new version.

                in 69?... SIXTY NINE????

                Wow...

                In nineteen sixty-nine.... I ... um... wasn't !!
Nine years later, I would grace the planet...
                Or...
I would be on the planet less than gracefully?
                Or...
I would still be on the planet by the grace of God?
                Or...
Gracefully, when the planets aligned, I would segue out of this conversation.

I guess someday, I'll say "1978" and people will ask me if there was dirt around then...
That day can remain far far in the future, thank you!

In 1969 I had just returned from Viet Nam and bought a new Dodge Super Bee - the only car I have owned that would out run my XS11.

Ayup, born in 1969. That means I missed free love and all the really great music. DARN!

In 1969 I was 5 years out of the Marine Corps and recovering
from a motorcycle accident. (Broken Leg) Got back on and have
                      been riding ever since.
P.S. The bike I had the accident on was a 250cc Yamaha Catalina
street bike. Anyone ever heard of one or owned one?

Way back in 1969.... I was eight years old and living on the farm. We had a rent house with a basment that was open out of a hill. Our Renter at that time started the first Yamaha Shop here in Southern IL out of that basement. I used to spend lots of time up there and knew most all the early yamaha's. So I have owned one since 1972.

                          Feeling Groovy?

                          In 1969 I was a massive 4 years old.

Could just about manage my first few French words 'round the corner at Ed's Market in Point Claire, Montreal. Hadn't long got to grips with the English I suppose.

A year later we moved out to Ontario and my French has gone downhill since

Even more scary - I'm going back there for the first time since '70 on holiday in September....wonder if 'Ed' will remember me.....wonder if ANYTHING I can just about remember is still there!

                            1969
the hair was long, the skirts were short, the GTX was fast, the 175 two stroke two cylinder Yamaha street something was slow, the 305 Dreamer just would not run. The 450 Honda was bigger and faster than my previous 350 Honda, and it was still a life threatening ride down Rt 1-9 in NJ. There were drive-ins, and I found the back seat of my 57 Caddy was roomier than the front seat.
Yep, senior in high school, a whole lifetime ahead, and nothing wrong with the world.

                              'nothing wrong with the world"

1969 - My senior year gave us the opportunity to watch the very first lottery, it had our birthdates in it and we wished for a high number in the draw because lots of the folks with low numbers came back shot up or not at all. memory plays tricks on us!

forgive the sarcasm but those dates brought both the good and the bad. It was a year that changed my life forever!
