I talked to Hippy Dave last night, and so far, he and Cindy on his '78E, Skippy and his wife on a *cough* Kawasaki, and John and Kat on two of their Yamahas are coming up from Texas and are supposed to be in Harrison Friday night. I will leave out Friday morning and be there also IF I have a bike that runs..... Anyone that wants to meet up with me and ride some good roads... Talimena Trail, Pig Trail etc, let me know.

Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!

I can do Harrison, I’ll see if Days Inn has any more rooms.

I’d like to meet up with you Kansas guys but there are a lot of interesting routes down through MO, and I know a place in Columbia that has great steaks, so I’m planning on taking two days to get down there (retired in January). On the other hand, I have never have ridden Talimena or Pig Trail. Tod, how early is early and where is Ada, Oklahoma?

Bob, you're welcome to join, but it's going to be @ 200 miles further south than what you need to go. If you aren't in a hurry to get home on Sunday, I could take you through them on the way home?? Very out of the way for you, but it's your call.

If you still want to meet before hand and ride them, just go to yahoo maps and type in Ada, OK and Talihina, OK. I could meet you anywehere in between. The Talimena trail is right outside of Talihina.

The Pig trail and Magazine Mountain wouldn't be near as far out of your way... but it's hard to beat the Talimena Trail in this part of the country.

Just let me know. I'll leave Friday morning sometime... if the bike is running. lol.

I just spent 10 days in Arkansas. I am a bit jealous of you all who get to ride there. I flew down (not on my XS11 unfortunately) and was very impressed with all there was to see. I think all who have not been there will appreciate the fine highways and views I was able to see. I hope you all have a fine ride and wish I was able to attend as well.

You’re right Tod. If I take any interesting route to Talihina I’ll go right through the Harrison/Eureka Springs area. I'll have to work those trails in some other time. Thanks for the offer.
