Given that the temperatures have not be conducive to working on my bikes I took the time to catalog my parts. I have so many now that I had to log them and more importantly know where they are. The need to do this came when I bough a rear fender and then found 2 that I already had while I was sorting through stuff.
So I have recreated Yamaha's part list from their factory site into a table document that allows me to track my parts. It is in factory format with added columns that show what the factory part # is, how many are required for that part of the bike, what condition the part is in and where it is in my racks, bins or garage.
This doc can not be posted for copy and pasting but if you also have too many parts to keep track of .. send me a message with an email add and I will send you a copy.
I find this handy once completed because I can buy only what I need, sell what I don't need, find my parts quickly and even determine what would be needed to build yet another complete bike.
