Well, we are getting into barbecue season
Hey Ross
I did have a van like that a while back, though I never set it on fire.
As for a flaming paint job for the XS, well, what can I say? If your flames aren't literally throwing off heat, you're not trying hard enough! Seriously though, if I were to put flames on the tank and sidepanels, my preference would be for "ghost" flames. Not ghost as in "Ghost Rider", but rather, subtle and harder to see flames done in the same color/opposite type paint as the background paint, ie: metallic paint flames done on a candy paint background of the same color, or candy flames on a metallic background of the same color. That way, people who aren't paying attention don't notice anything, but the ones who are interested and come to give your bike a second look, (obviously, they are more intelligent people with good taste), will notice the paint and think: "Hey. That looks niiice."
Bottom line is, if it make you smile when you look at it or get on it, then that, boys and girls, is the perfect paint job for you.
My two cents.
Ok, I'm done now.
Cheers,

If only I listened to myself.
