  • Any Krog's out there in the big ole US of A?

I have recently done my Family Tree going back to 1794 when my great old grand pappy came to sunny South Africa. In my research I discovered America was the land of choice for many Krog decendants.

Sooooo, I have been wondering if there are any active on this forum???

At first, thought that not be funny as it could have actually happened at one time or another and may still be happening some where over there especially to the north.

Then another couple thoughts popped up.
A lot of Netherlanders, Germans etc. had settled in SA and other parts of Africa and did pretty well. A few of my ancestors did.
Then out a the blue that commercial "the other white meat" popped into my head

Here in South Africa being 'white meat' puts you in the dinasaur category, fast becoming extinct.

It seems, apart from the braai - as we call it - there are not any Krog's (still breathing - or in the process of being braai'ed), on the forum??
