  • Old new exhaust

    I have recently repainted my headers and added a set of Harley mufflers. I think it looks much better then before and it also is CBMMA all the way.
    Sounds good and so far idles nicely cant wait to take it out for a ride.

    What kind of paint did you go with?

    And.... Harley's have mufflers??
    Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

      Well I'll be....

      Sure looks like those pics were taken in my garage when I've been wrenchin'. LOL Well, maybe not, not enough of a mess.....

        Duplicolor

        I used the Duplicolor high heat. I have no oven available so I cured the pipes on the bike. So far so good as I have no pealing yet. I will post later if I encounter problems.

          Lookin' good rman.

          I'm going to be doing the same thing to my Special pretty soon. Looks like you might have some problems with the muffs hitting the ground on corners. The stock Special mufflers did until I put on longer shocks. I think I'm going to have to fabricate some kind of kick up extensions to keep Sporty mufflers from hitting.

            Can you show any pics of the underneath side with muffs on bike. I haven't quite figured out how I'm gonna deal with the crossover pipe openings on the Sporty muffs, or decided how I'm gonna attach them to the headers.

              No crossover

              Sorry but there is no crossover. Besides with that mess around the bike there would be no way to get underneath
