hello all....anybody had the chance to ride the new raider? am consedering buying one next spring if they are what they say. will keep 11 and sell 700 maxim. any thoughts?

Big 1854cc V-twin. Take a Yamaha Warrior, punch it out, spiff it up some with more rake, swoopy fenders, different suspension and you actually have a pretty good looking rig.
Torque curve starts somewhere around two rpm and pounds it from there. Would not look bad sitting next to the 'ole G model in the garage.
In answer to your first question, have not ridden one but have put some miles on a Warrior, the Raider is 'posta kill it.

I have a stratoliner with the same powertrain. Probably pull a 1 bottom plow at the speed limit. I checked them at a couple of dealers they look nice. Only problem I have with them is someone might think you are riding a harley If they don't look close.Comment
