    I had a similar problem, it was a fuel hose kink. I replaced the original stuff with the only thing I could find at the time, automotive gas line. Don't ever use that stuff!!! It gets soft with the engine heat and will collapse into a kink at nearly any bend.

    I ended up using Lawnmower fuel line (Some sort of clear Poly). Works great, doesn't collapse and you can tell at a glance if you are getting fuel.

      gas line

      hi gino well i'am going to replace all the gas lines. in the late 60's and70's there was a clear braided fuel line we used on custom bikes , changed it every couple of years because of yellowing worked and looked good wonder if they still make it i'll find out!

        I had thought about braided, but was apprehensive because my only source of Supply is NAPA and that's automotive. My local shop (Competition Accessories, they have a really good online store for gear) was no help (as they usually are with XS parts). I ended up stumbling across the lawnmower fuel line at Tractor Supply.
