    Hey, welcome to the site.
You have joined a motorcycle web-site not a spelling bee site. Sometimes you might get picked on a little, but we don't really care that you can't type/ spell.
There are many different types of people here, so long as you love motorcycles, that's all we care about.
I hope you get your bike, post pictures when you do. Hell, post some pics of it anyway.

brokenarrow....i know so many people in general down here that are sick and tired of all the snow....we got up to 38 today and with the help of the propane heater, i almost got my entire set of carbs rebuilt...one more 2 go thru....don't even worrry about being a newbie on the pc....i constantly have 2 help my dad with his pc.....he's 80 and tries his best to keep up with all this new fangled thing-a-ma-jigs....funny how parents take care of you just so you can take care of them...i've owned bikes since '79 when my current bike was built...i own a 79 xs1100f standard.....got wiped out when i was 13 on my dirt bike.....10 days in the hospital, but was back on 2 wheels while i was still wearing the leg cast.....(hey, i just fixed it up and had 2 take it for a test drive!)...you mentioned pics of your ride, i have included a couple of mine hibernating out in the garage...like i said i'm in the process of completely redoing her and this is where she sat as of a couple weeks ago...[/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG]

let me know and i will help u post photos of your ride just like this.....like i said this is a ongoing project...original color is the gas tank color...the new color will be the side cover color....good god man, u r in the middle of no where up there aren't u....just google earth'd thunder lake and that really looks like a serious "buns of steel" 405 mile road trip.....them beers better be real cold and ya better have a great butcher in town for those steaks....both u and ur wife take care.....ross & crystal....

Welcome YOOPER!!!! Say ya to da XS eh?!

I grew up in Kinross and rode my first bike up and down an ice covered driveway until the trails cleared in May. I miss the UP, but in my line of work, there ain't much available up in God's Country. I am working on convincing SWMBO that retirement in the UP will be fine (as long as there is a motorhome full of gas ready to go to Florida in Jan).

This is a great site. Stick with guys like TC, GnePig, Prom and John, they won't steer you wrong. Andreas is a great parts man (as are many others). Hobbyman is an inspiration and Wildkat keeps us all on the straight and narrow with her insights and wit.

There are so many great guys (and gals, Kat) on this site.
