From the 50's to late 60's got to live from Alaska to Southern CA CA... (including Hawaii) Dad in military.
During 70's I checked out all the southern states and wound up in Florida for awhile and have also visited states all the way out to New York and been to several different countries...
Have found that I like where I'm at weather wise. Be the best all around weather in the world right here in the East Bay
Reading and seeing pics here from members in other places just confirms it
mro
BTW, no rain lately, sunny and in the 70's
I be riding...all year long

Yeah snow is the pits, but see what you get when you mix 72" of snow, 20,000 tons of salt and 23 freeze thaw cycles in 12 weeks. I'm replacing the lower control arm on my taurus today. Forget about warm weather I'm waiting for the road crews.

Not only does your car rot out from under you, the paint gets sandblasted off at the same time.Paul

Yeah, the roads here in Southwest Ohio took a beating this year. We have pot holes that can eat a Suburban. I almost hit one the other day, but fortunately, a Mini Cooper got there before me and I just went over the top of him.Papa Gino

I love winter, as long as there is lots of snow.
I don't see any point in refrigerating the entire country, unless we can store snow.
Problem is, for the last couple decades, it's been cold with very little snow. Last couple of years the snow has started to come back, but still nothing like when I was younger.
I don't mind buying snow tires, if there is enough snow to ski, snowmobile, toboggan, make snow angels, snowshoe, etc. As it is, we take the cadets out for winter in-doc and tell them what it was like, back when we had a real winter, and they look at us like the 'uphill both ways' stories from grandpa!Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

You really need to look at putting a plow on the front of that big Ford
I would if I could but I need to figure out how to get it in the backyard to clean off the rink.
It was tough enough getting the slow blower back there. I really need to mark my walkway, a couple of those landscape lights jumped right into the auger on the blower!!!Ernie
