  • Back again, long hiatas!

Hello, don't know if anyone 'members me, but I posted now and again under the old Yahoo list, and stopped visiting in late July. I moved from a duplex (w/ a garage) to an apartment (roommate got married, and got the duplex). So, I put my bike on the shelf for awhile, as it needs some fiddling and I haven't had the funds, nor the location to do it (apartment doesn't allow us to work on vehicles). Got a little burnt out on it, on absorbing information, on other things as well. Anyway, it was late, I've nothing else to look over on this vast information highway, and the site (and bike) have been on the mind lately. So, anyone want to bring me up to speed on the happenings since July of '02. I know its a big request, but...
For one thing, certain features of the forum was supposed to be paid subscription (w/ a lot of opposition)? Guess it didn't take? Am I beating a dead horse? And again, hello to all I've had contact w/ in the past, and to the new people. Danny, I visited your site, glad to see some more progress on the boat!

Welcome back! I'd probably remember you, but I don't recognize your "handle". What name did you use in YahooGroups?

Good to hear you're thinking about your bike again... bummer you can't work on it at the apartment. What about bringing it inside?!

Bill K. as in Kingson? I remember you now from the "old" list! You had a lot of good info (you were a moderator or equivalent?). Anyway, I believe I was 'capocrimini' on that list too. Thats the email address I got this list sent to (@hotmail.com). Anyway, I have 3 flights of stairs up to the 2nd floor. Not sure if the neighbors would appreciate the noise. Not sure if I could make the climb myself. Tires might spin on the carpet too. Lots of bad possibilities in that idea!! Besides, I am already storing all my tools, my old faring (windjammer) and two bicycles inside an average sized 1 br. apt. In Dec. my brother bought a house w/ garage, and it is stored in their, but he is renovating and using the garage for storage, so its buried and no work room. Life is like that! Oh well, first priority for me once the lease is up is to find a house or duplex to rent/buy, a garage is a MUST!! Thanks for the greeting, its nice to be back. Lotta new names, and missing some good old ones.
