  • How 'Bout that Weather?

Two days ago, it was in the high 60's and I rode to work that morning. Yesterday morning, high 30's and dropping. Started raining about 10, and then snowed like hell for a few hours. Big, wet, heavy flakes. Probably had two inches of it stick. Today, High 50's and sunny. Go figger....

Yeah, it was in the high 60's this week and tonight we're expecting 3-5" of the white stuff. It's already getting pretty nasty.

At least I'll have a humorous drive in to work in the morning looking at all the mayhem and chaos that will be left in the wake of the snow. People here freak out and wreck a lot in the snow for some reason....

By Sunday the odds are it will all be gone.

Funny, we have a similar situation up here in Ohio....except it's going to stay cold and snow for another day or so, then just stay cold some more. ah, but it was lovely the other day. oh well, it will eventually warm up here.

        WX Related Mess

        Yeah guys,
I was going to put up a post asking you about this fast moving system blasting thorugh TX, OK, and the OH valley.
Her in FL we're supposed to get it tonight at around midnight and tomorrow. There were a couple of death in N FL due to tornados.
We are currently under tornado warnings until 2AM. Lot of sleep we're going to get sleeping with one eye open....
Oh well, at least I can still go outside in my shorts until tomorrow night when it'll drop into the 40's.
        Good luck, stay warm.

It's been hanging in the +15C range for a few weeks now. We've had a couple of skiffs of snow meantime, but nothing that stops the bike.

The ground here is almost bare of snow, and it's been beautiful...
