I get on here about two to three times a day. Do not post much as my bike is tucked away in the garage so I have no questions at the moment and I am really not knowledgeable enough to answer some questions but consider it a great source for learning. I also enjoy the regular folks here and of course Prom.

I'm usually on 1 to 2 times a day. I don't post much because I don't type very fast, but I think I've read almost every tread.

I don't always have something clever to say, but I like to read what others are thinking. I guess I'm more a listener (at least on the PC), face to face I hear I'm as garrulous as a teenager. I must also admit, I do have a tendency to run on at the mouth. I used to belong to a support group for people that talk too much, it's called on and on and on. but i fell off the wagon and am wordy as ever. oh well, I guess I'm done rambling...out!

He's called the Lorax... he speaks for the trees.
(He also speaks for everyone else, as they can't get in a word edge-wise, it seems)

                  Well,

The Lurkers I was thinking of were the registered ones that "could" post, but usually just read. I know we have unregistered Guests, but I'm hoping that they won't be that many. Many of them are actually SPAMBOTS trolling the site!

I can list/review members according to when they became members, but not by their last visit. I can review their last visit when I look up each person individually, but with over 3k members, that won't be happening!

So...this is why I wanted to check to try to see how many of those 3K+ members are relatively active!

The new forums track that. In fact, it seems to only display the birthdays of active members on the front page of the forums (an annoyance), though it sends everyone a happy b'day email.

I have recieved many many (far too many) undeliverable mail errors from members the system is trying to send them to whose email address is no longer valid. I figure I have at least 150 or more.

I lurk a lot, at least once a day. It's fun to keep up with Chop and the guys who are committing surgery on these beasts all the time. In a few days I'll have the parts I need to resurrect Kong and we'll be back on the road. It's been so long I'm developing lack-of-road rash. So for now I read instead of ride. Surrounded as I am with the wisdom of Fred, Prom, MRO, Ray and 81xsproject, there isn't much I can add other than to applaud the vast store of knowledge and the spirit of sharing that abounds on XS11.com.

BTW, one of the places I like to look is the Other Bike forum. It just occurred to me how little that one changes. Is it because once you get an 11 you don't need any other bike?

Still here, although I'm a "fair weather" (seasonal) member, I suppose. It's hard to think about riding when the wind chill is -12 F.

I'd rather be a lurker than a gurufluffer, I suppose.
