sorry to hear that - hope you're OK and get well soon.

Tkat brace, new coils/wires/plugs, refurbed carbs (thanks 81 xsproject), recon'd top end, windshield (thanks dpotter58), resprayed tank and panels, 4-1 exhaust, sweet xs pod filters, in line fuel filters, progressive springs, thick hand grips, jumped headlight relay.
Whatever the design...I would like a couple. Ive been looking for a key fob for my xs for a few months and havent found anything I like. These look great!
By the way ... anyone know about key blanks? I only got one ilco p.o.s. key with my Maxim. I went out of my way to get to a locksmith who "does motorcycle keys" and he only had ... ilco keys.
I'd like an actual Yamaha key.
Would the dealers' current ones fit a 1982 bike?

"had some unexpected surgery done on Monday..."
Hi Wildkat,
that's never a good thing to hear. I trust all went well with the surgery, that you will heal up to be better than ever and that nothing got lopped off that you couldn't do without.
And not to be changing the import of this string, please put me down for a key fob.

As I told a friend of mine... I tried to convince the Dr to take a few more things while there... but something about ethics and keeping good body parts made him say no...
Back on my feet and have been trying to get the FJ road worthy during my recovery... just about there... Of course, it was beautiful out when I was laid up... now that I am pretty much ready to ride again... it's supposed to rain for the next few days...
ANYway...
Thank you for the well wishes!
As for the key fobs... I ordered fobs with the 30th anniversary design... but I can do another design (like for the XJ) but only if I know there will be demand for it. They are kind of expensive and the price to the group will reflect the demand (more demand, lower price... less demand, higher price).
Let me see how the anniversary design sells and I'll think about the XJ design...
I will be posting when they arrive and will then ask for orders... hold that thought for a little longer... The fobs might be in next week...

On the subject of Fobs. Has anyone got the old style fob with XS1100 Special on it that they want to sell? I can pass on the pennies to you thru PayPal. Any replies and suggestions welcome.
Where are we with the key fobs??
I have cash/paypal ready to go
