    Key fobs

    I've found a place online called ABEmblems that can make a 1.5" x 2" embroidered key fob for a fairly reasonable price...

    The design I sent them was based on the 30th Anniversary design I used with the Cafepress stuff... However, after the recent issue with the patches... thought I should open this up to the community to see if anyone else would like to submit a design. Keep in mind, if you submit the design that is chosen... you also take on the ordering and everything that goes with getting them out (just letting you know).

    Please use this thread to submit your design by March 15. We can then open a poll and have the design chosen by the end of March... just in time for most of the rallies (it takes a few weeks for them to make these).

    I might be open to some suggestions on changes... but it depends on the moon and which way the wind is blowing...

      Hey Kat,

      You're welcome.

      Isn't that a bit much to put on a keyfob??

      Would be nice to know if they can embroider on both sides differently, or just on one side and it appear reversed/backwards on the back??

      Below are the "OLD" ones that are sold out. I did a search for places that make keyfobs, but couldn't find any that did fabric/embroidery kind like the old ones!
      People do love classic designs and styling......like our bikes!



      And folks have asked for Maxim stuff!

        When I bough my 1100 the keys came on a soft brown leather key fob with the tuning forks on one side. Wish I still had it. The local dealers around here don't even have license plate liners anymore or even brand marked mud flaps.

          I wondered about that too, TC

          Maybe have the bike on one side and the wording on the other?
          That way the bike will be larger...

          It's definitely going to lose something in the process with a work space so small...

          Hmmmm... leather... there's a thought...

          oops... sorry... we were talking key fobs, right?

            Key Fobs!

            A big YES to these...I will take any style as depicted in this thread.And since I have an XS11 and an XJ11 I will want both kinds if indeed both types are available.I agree with all the previous posts here. If we are just talking 30th Anniversary stuff thats' fine too.I am good for 4 key fobs.

              I would be interested in at least 2 myself. Wording on one side and the bike pic on the other sounds fine too. I am sure they will look good whatever is decided. Leather is all good too.

                So are the key fobs still a go or is there not enough interest? I have been wanting some ever since I found my bike and this great site.

                  Still a go...

                  just a little behind... My Mom had a car accident within a couple of days of our son breaking his hand... so I've had a few things on my plate (not that my eating habits really have anything to do with it... but ANYway...)

                  Trying to figure out exactly what to do with the design so that it will look good and still be different from the styles already out there...

                  I'll try to have something together within the next couple of weeks...

                    Kat...sorry to hear theat your Mom had an accident ....hope she is ok.Same for your son...no hurrying here ...when you can get to it...I'm sure it will be good!

                          Tkat brace, new coils/wires/plugs, refurbed carbs (thanks 81 xsproject), recon'd top end, windshield (thanks dpotter58), resprayed tank and panels, 4-1 exhaust, sweet xs pod filters, in line fuel filters, progressive springs, thick hand grips, jumped headlight relay.

                            Be careful with the old style key fobs. If you ride a Standard and accidentally have the "Special" side facing up, you only get about a hundred miles to a tank of gas...
