  • Spring is in the Air!

    The Junkyard Dog rides again.

    Took it out Sunday, after some carb work, and it started to snow within 3hrs. This is, of course, normal. Whenever I get my bike out in the spring it invariably snows.

    However, the snow didn't last, so had it out again today.

    Once I get past the glaciers in my area, to the main roads, the roads are fine!
    Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

      Especially this one, as it was in such rough shape when I got it.

      FOr it to fire right up, w/o using a battery charger or anything, was pretty cool.

        Snow flurries yesterday morning in GA. This morning 24f (10 degrees colder than Bismark, ND) Soon it will be just a memory, and hard to believe.

          Spring is in the air. Maybe in Texas. We're supossed to get more snow tonight. lol.

            red bandit...ya mean i gotta take the front ski off and put the rear tire on with out the studs.....i was just getting good on all the ice and snow....not 2 mention 2day a milk truck ate it on i-696...rear axle fell off right in front of me.....i guess i'll just have 2 get used to riding on dry pavement again...ross

              If the weather is reasonable, I may take mine to Valemount, tomorrow. That's a 400km round trip.

                  It's actually early, here, to have the bike out. It could turn cold for another month easily.

                  I've ridden my bike(s) every month of the year, here, just never all of them in the same year!
