  • Selling my Valkyrie no Spring TeXSive Rally planned

Well, with the little bambina on the way, I am selling my Honda Valkyrie. We are tightening the belt and the payments and insurance have to go.
Good news is, once I sell it, i may be back in the market for another XS11. I will just have to see how it all goes.

Just in case your interested, the Valkyrie page is here

So with this, I will not be planning a TeXSive Spring Rally this year for obvious reasons. I will keep all the TeXSives up to date if I manage to have another bike and perhaps can make the fall ride.

    Cheers

    Congrats on the chica!

    Hello Wayne and Nancy,

Cangrats! We understand about re-prioritizing. Keep us informed about when the bambina is born and post pics!

You have a whole team of XS riders who will be willing to help get you a XS11 and help rebuild her, when the time is right.

We look forward to a Fall ride with you folks!

      Good news and bad news

Sorry to hear you're letting the bike go... but it certainly is a great reason!

      Felicitaciones!!!

We'll miss you in the Spring... but we'll see you soon... one way or another...

Maybe a Spring ride to Houston for an XSive baby shower?

Sorry to here the toy hasta go. New kids (and older ones) do have a way diverting your entertainment expences. I guess with the "official" spring run on the rocks, we ALL need to reset our sights on another location. Hmm, lemme think. Hey! I got it, lets all try to lower the property value at John and Kats house again. Meeting of the Minds and Spring Fling all in one ride!!

Oh yeah, I think I am on to sumthin here!!
