    JVC TV Parts

Does anyone know where I can get a part for a JVC TV? I bought one and it has a broken mirror. The mirror reflects the projected image onto the front screen.

    Bill,

Do you have the model # of the set? Post it and I'll look up the part for you.

        Hey Bill,

Is it a glass mirror, or metal?? With a model # of HD, sounds like it might be a High Def unit?? IF so, then I would think it would have a glass one, more rigid, less tendency to flex and deform. Depending on whether it's a front reflecting surface mirror vs. a back reflecting, you might be able to get one cut at a local glass shop!?

Front vs. back reflecting is determined by simply placing a coin, nickel, it's rim against the mirror surface. If it looks like the coin is touching it's reflection, it's front reflecting. But if it looks like there is a gap between the coin and it's mirror image, it's back reflecting, FYI!

          Hey, Bill

No wholesale parts house that I deal with could match that model# You got it right?

So I checked with JVC, they don't recognize it either!

Barring that, the nearest JVC factory repair to you is:

          JVC Factory Service Center
          1500 Lakes Parkway
          Lawrenceville, GA 30043
          (800) 252-5722

Call them, they can direct you to a local guy that can repair it for you.

              Tried to contact/Email you??

              Hey Bill,

I tried sending emails to you both to an old one I had as well as the one you still have listed in your profile, and both bounced back??

I shipped the Mirror to you last Saturday via FedEx, said it would take a few days ground. Hope you can use it?
