Artic Cat, Kitty Cat 60CC Snowmobile

I know this is a motorcycle forum but you guys seem to know a little about everything. Any body else have one of these? They are realy neat. I bought one for my kid it is in real nice condition. The person that owned it before me had a body shop and the entire sled has been redone with base coat clear coat paint. New seat, new skis, new track. The problem is the engine. The crank bearings are bad. Parts for the engine I have are rare. I have an early model with the Kawasaki engine. I don't really want to invest a bunch of money in an engine that is antiquated. Does anyone know of a possible engine swap for this sled. I think the later model sleds have a Suzuki engine and it should fit but it is hard to find a complete engine. People seem to want to part them out down to the last nut and bolt and don't usually sell them complete. I have been watching Ebay for a while and have had no luck. I know there is a race circuit for these mini sleds but I don't know what engines are used. I have heard of a 5hp Honda engine swap but have found no details on how its done. Any help would be useful!! Thanks!!

Most of the Kitty Cat stuff out ther is for the later 120cc engine. However, you might try:
Features Kitty Cat snowmobile information as well as photos, facts, parts suppliers, videos, and advice through our message boards.

Features Kitty Cat snowmobile parts suppliers and info on locating parts.

I didn't see bearing listed, but you may need to contact these sources for non-listed parts or engine swap info.
