          Sshhh... Jesse, be quiet.

You don't want to startle him.
I read once... that when Canadians start losing their minds, they start talking to themselves. Gibberish, mostly, but this seems to be some deep psychotic secret code.
          Note how he mentions "unstable".
This may be an inner cry for help.
Maybe Ken or Fredintoon can tell us what it means.

but I'm uncertain as we are tethered to a cable...

See guys? now you'll have his hopes up... He'll come back here and see he has responses thinking that maybe... just maybe... someone has contributed some profound knowledge to his quest... only to find that there is mere rambling going on... much like my post...

"Oh... he's speaking to satellites all right..."

Talking to the Venusians, or the Greys or those lizard people from Alpha Centauri.
I'm sure he'll be better when the mother ship returns to get him.
Earth, though a fine place to visit, probably isn't what he thought it would be like.

"The reason aliens don't bother with us."

I think, MRO, that they got scared off and cancelled their invasion plans after they saw what happened to their buddies in "War of the Worlds".
(either that, or the first coupla' episodes of Star Trek)

The funny part about that whole Beatles song thing is that the very first time a Beatles song was played on the radio it was beamed into space. Admittedly, it wasn't deliberate, like they're planning on doing this time, but it's out there nonetheless.

I haven't even turned on my TV in over a week now. Seems kinda silly even thinking about it sometimes, but I've been considering getting a FTA reciever before analog TV ends next Feb. It appears the prices have come down a lot since last I looked in '04. I ran a dave reciever for a long time back when HU was still working. Unlimited PPV was pretty nice.

I didn't know they beamed the Beatles song into space before. They never said anything about that on CNN.

I can only think of one reason why they are beaming another Beatles song into space.

                            They Got a reply....LOL

Well, like I said, it wasn't deliberate. Every EM (electromagnetic) wave on earth makes it into space at some level. We're a giant radiating ball of thousands of different radio and TV signals. Since space offers little interference to EM they can travel a loooooong way once they get through the atmosphere.

                              .
