                  I want one

I would love to have one of those...... Used to have a .222 rifle that was real good for long distance, but of course didn't hit any where near as hard as that. A woodchuck like Puxatanni (sp) Phil would completely disappear except for a few little tufts of fur.

                    .221

                    varmit/target shooting

Not much use over 100 yards like the 200/300 yard .223 rifles but fun shooting from a bench.
Have you checked out the s&w .50 pistol?
                    Sometimes bigger is funner

                      Target pistol...

I have a .22 cal Browning Challenger II target pistol, friends call me "Dead eye Dick" and it's good for much farther than a couple hundred yards. I have witnesses that will attest to the fact that I am able to hit a jack rabbit at 100+ yards while he's on the run, and 200 yrd target shots in a 2 inch group..... Qualified expert in the Army with an M-1 that would mostly place shots through the target sideways because it was so badly worn out. 297 out of a possible 300.

                        I have a model 48 .22 air rifle
At 50 feet can hit a dime every time
I've clocked jack rabbits at 40MPH.
As far as hitting a wabbit on the run...i would need a mini-gun or a W87

                          Jack wabbits

If you ever watched a jack wabbit run you will notice he runs a bit then jumps up in the air to look back at the "chaser", perfect time to plink him. Me and "the boys" used to go to the desert with lots of firepower just to sling some lead. I've been able to plink a jack twice in this manner with lots of witnesses. When I was young dad would give me a handfull of pennies when I went up the lane to get the cows for milking and I would place them on fence posts as far away as 300 yrds and while we were waiting for the milking machine to milk the cows we would practice plinking them with an old single shot rifle, and I would go rabbit hunting as often as possible with the same rifle. Not jacks there, but cottontails and snowshoe rabbits.

haven't shot guns nearly as much as I'd like. Parents didn't approve, grandpa however... =D

So far I sadly haven't shot any handguns, just about everything else, but missing out on those. Sooner or later.
                            Looking for an XS
