I see how it is. We've got Special stuff, XJ Stuff, and even Midnight Stuff, but where's the Standard stuff? I got very excited when I saw a coffee mug in the plain old "XS11"section. Surly this must have picture of a standard, as all of the other models have there own section and really, this is the bike that started it all. But upon closer inspection, it's not one, but two specials.

I didn't really think this sort of thing went on anymore. Sure, when the old gal was younger, we'd notice the stares and hear the whispered comments; "Why is that motorcycles headlight so square." But that was a different time back then. I thought that we were beyond that now. Oh well, I guess some things never change

The problem is, the "Bag Lady" isn't running yet, and Wildkat doesn't know just how FAST the standards are!! She and John ride the "Specials", and have not been on a FAST '78......

I mean, afterall, it IS the 30th anniversary of the 78 model... right?
So it was only fitting that the 78 get the VERY special place on the 30th anniversary items...
and it's my favorite of the designs too...
Picky picky picky... and I thought I was the only one PMSing right now...



Hey! The only reason I'm not aggressively trying to sell the FJ (okay... other than the fact that it has a fuel leak that can't be fixed at the moment)... is that it's the only bike I have faster than HobbyMan's standard... Lord knows that Something Special will NEVER run faster than a Standard... or a Special... or my kids...

(but it is powerful and handles really well...)

These bikes really grow on you... funny... I didn't want anything to do with Foster Child when he came home... then after hours... and hours... and hours... and hours... of polishing and tweaking... I wouldn't trade my now Something Special for anything... Did I happen to mention hours?

and I REALLY enjoyed working with the graphics... if anyone has any design ideas they would like to see but don't have time to create... I'm open to suggestions...

WOW i cant believe my gal will be thrity years old this year it seems just like yesterday when she first came into my life Hmm what do you get a gril thats turning thirty I know maybe i will get her a set of matching tires and maybe i will redo her seat
