I'm glad I'm not the only one suffering from the INTENSE cold... If I didn't have to pull the rear MC and do the brakes,, I'd take a ride. Should be up to around 4 here in the Sioux Falls area, tomorrow.
Every year I pick a really cold day and run up the main drag once or twice. Mainly to 1.) Be the only bike out. 2.) Give people something to talk about. 3.) Mabee make the local news. 4.) Make myself appriciate the 100 degree days of the summer.

Up here in Ontario, Canada it's not as cold at the moment around 27 ,28 degrees but I managed to get out one night last week when it was above 32 .The streets were dry and the rain we had washed alot of the sand off the roads that they put down when the roads ice up. Doesn't look like it's going above freezing here until the end of the month. Lots of polishing to keep me busy until the warmer weather comes.

I gotta thank you guys. I was feeling sorry for myself making my commute this morning in 20 degree weather trying to keep my fingers warm. That was cake compared to what ya'll are dealing with.

              Temps way down!

Good thing Gunnison is some 140 miles from Grand Junction as it was -39 there!................Only got down to a -1 here yester-morning...........some 15degrees lower than normal. Good thing I'm inside a warm garage fixin the tranny. Also got a left side exhaust complete off flea-bay, and was a take-off new. Didn't really wanna wack mine to put on the NOS Jardine slip-ons with the cross-over unless absolutely necessary.

                Tank painting again

The first 78XS1100 E tank looked so good when repainted that I got another of ebay. This one had some dings and they covered well.
Have it primed and 1st coat of black on the oval part. Plan to make this tank a two tone with the maroon on the largest area and black in the detents. Just practicing...still 10 below zero.

                  Well,

Us folks down in SouthEast Virginia want to thank you guys in The Great White north and WEST for sending all of this fine freezing air our way! We actually have a winter storm warning for tomorrow for 3-6 inches of snow.....which is very rare for our neck of the coast!

My SWMBO loves the snow having been born in Upstate NY, but I'm a Floridian by birth, so I don't like the super cold stuff for too long, but it's nice to look at. I've only had to shovel it once in the past 5 years, just enough to get the stuff off of the driveway.

Hmm, I've had more than a couple of times this winter when I had to blow three times in a day.

                      It's not over yet!

Gee Ken,, Just a little bit of snow. Now I don't feel so bad where I'm at. At least we only have about 4 inches of snow on the ground. BUT, Down right flat out, frigidlly, dangerously cold.

                          Feel so lucky

I'm originally from upstate NY and rather used to lots of snow and cold, but I now live in SoCal and can ride most every day. Today it's supposed to get up to 70 this afternoon. Eat your heart out guys.
