Dang, it would have been $30 less than what I had to pay at Harley for the same lines. Oh well, at least I didn't have to wait for them to come in the mail.

1982 XJ11 (winter project- Black Beauty)
1992 XT225 (yard sale find)
I came up with about 93 dollars for front brakes ...
Thats
3 hoses
6 hose ends
3 bolts
1 double bolt
That works out to be about 10 bucks cheaper then the complete kit I got. If however you intend to use the factory bolts then the savings are in deed very good.

I think it is cool cuz if you don't have stock bars, you don't need nearly as long of lines and between the cables and lines I am tired of having extra.
I haven't looked at the Z1 site yet, but if they are like most places that sell and charge for lines, they charge for the line almost no matter how long. SO....you can reduce the cost by 1 hose line by running 2 long hoses, and use the large double fitting banjo bolt at the MC, do away with the splitter.
The amount of fluid will be the same whether you use the splitter or not, so this might allow even more cost savings depending on how STOCK a look you want! YMMV!
