When you last visited Seoul, which seemed most prevelent, 9 mm's, 38 specials or 44 magnums? I'll bet 44 magnums are a rare pair in your neck of the So. Korean woods. Be careful, thank's for your service and hurry home.

I get down to Seoul usually once or twice a month on the weekends. I can honestly say I've not run into any trouble... yet. I've heard about bad things happening, but I usually stick to the nicer parts of town. I'm not a bar-hopper.

I do miss my guns, though. Can't wait till leave in March!

LOL! I did not even consider that, Dan! I have been gone way too long! When I come home on leave, it'll be about a week shy of a year that I'll have been over here.

To answer your question, I'd have to say probably 38 special, which is ok with me. I'm a fan of smaller calibers.

It happens and trips to Asia can dull ones senses on what the large calibers were like but of course as in all things, some calibers are more user friendly than others. Enjoy your leave and hopefully you will find a 38 special that is user friendly as you certainly have earned it.

When staring down a decent set of magnums...
