          Strangely enough, I have done the exact same thing by mere luck just after the first wave of a Texas shower. Only this time it was oil, not ice. You get an awkward feeling when you are sliding with your foot down in the wrong direction through an intersection. The only thing that saved me was sheer luck, not skill.
