Cases are split and decided no to continue

Thanks for the help in getting the cases split. I have decided to put it back together without new parts. I found out what is wrong and will just keep the engine for another time. I have no use for the engine now and can always break it down again when and if it is needed. Thanks for the help. Deltysdal@aol.com where it is 20 degrees F in Minnesota USA.

Engine and tranny

I have a running engine in a 1978Xs11. The engine I have out is the one that was in before. I merely wanted to see what was wrong with the old tranny and do not need another right now. But I would need the parts someday if the present working engine needs help someday. Thanks.
