Could use a fuse block for 1978E

My 4 clips are all snapped and I have merely hooked up loose hanging fuse holders. Does any one have a good fuse block? Thanks.

This should be what you need. The new fuses work MUCH better than the old glass style.

Fuse block

I tried Checkers and other parts places which had no fuse blocks on hand. One store had quite a few in a catalog but with no measurements. I called NAPA and they had only 1 style in their catalog. I asked to return it if it did not fit. They said 'sure'. It came the next day as they said. It was $25 (a bit much) I thought. It is thick and solid with 6 fuses shown. BUT best of all it was the exact same size and the side mounting holes were exact also. The 2 actual mounting bolts were long enough so that the 2 back frame screws did not have to come out for the install. What a surprise. It does not have a cover but I think the side cover will be fine. I did need to hacksaw the common buss for one side of the set up. It made 4 cuts for this little task. Wow? What a surprise.

I fixed DiverRay's link and then added the other one that shows folks where to get a modest priced fuseblock, that doesn't have a
"GANG" bus type power connection, but has separate line connectors for each of six fuses it holds, and it has a cover,
ONLY $8.00!!!! Glad you got yours to work, though!
