    standard tank paint

    Does anyone have the same problem of rubbing the paint off the rear corners of the tank on a standard with your pants or leathers?
    I have rubbed the paint off both corners.

    No. I have no wear on the paint of my tank in that area. And, like you, I do ride with dennims and sometimes leather chaps also. Perhaps I don't grip the tank with my knees while street riding. As for my dual-purpose bike, -- yes, there's some wear on the tank.
