    Those are fairly loose anyway, but I have never seen or even heard of one stretching. They are supposed to be non-stretch. It makes me wonder if the problem lies in the sprockets not the chain?

      Too loose

      I've seen many primary chains and they are usually pretty loose, but not that loose.
      You can't stay young forever, but you can be immature for the rest of your life...

        That's very likely but i yet have to discover the original cause of it stretching so much or most likely if the sprockets are the real issue here cause i cant look onto the sprockets, since the alternator bolt won't budge & i cant get the crank out until i have that off.

          It may take a good impact wrench... but then you're only halfway there. Most of the time, those rotors are a real pain in the a@# to get off. There's many methods... do a search. Good luck.

            It's been a while since I've had an XS11 bottom end apart but I vagely remember there being a nozzle that shoots oil on the primary chain. If so a clogged / restricted orfice could result in insufficent lube to the chain causing the extra wear.

            Way back when aftermarket filters first came out for the 11, I saw a number of filters delaminate.
