Would Yamaha brand original saddle bags and mounting hardware fit an SG or were they made specifically for the standards?

If it's any help, I know the vetter saddle bag mounts for the standard wont fit anything else. I have a brand new set of saddle bag mounts (vetter) for an '82 Maxim but because of the rear grab rail set up you can't fit a trunk.

Hi Laxdad ! If you contact me on my email: xs1100lg@yahoo.com , I can email you some pitures of my SG. It has the original YAMAHA saddlebags. They look a bit different on the standards.
