  • First long ride on 79F

Took the rebuilt 79F on it's first major ride this past Sunday. A group of us rode just over 100 miles, in various conditions, and the bike performed beautifully! Just figured to let everyone know.

Just wait until you have it properly broken in! I realize you know the old bikes, but the eleven is STILL a bike to contend with!! The way you have yours set up, I don't see many bikes keeping up in a roll on!
And I DO like the looks of it.

Thanks DiverRay. I actually can't wait to hit the 500 milke mark on it, and then really crank in to it. Just riding it on Sunday, amidst a pack of GoldWing 1500's and a couple of V-Star 1100's and a V-Star 1600, mine kept up very easily. And turned heads at the same time. Almost makes me want to keep her for myself, instead of puttinf her up for sale.
