It should be two xs11s from my house in June ......... Billy will be officially the first third generation XSive.....

We can do a base gasket change and a 1st and 2nd gear on my bike / can we?

All three kids will be there ... four if you count Billy.

The wife and youngest will probably be in the car..... (not a Honda) but if we dont let the kids swap seats as we go they'll be mad I'm sure.

We will probably stay with my promoter who lives in Dallas while we are there so as to not put such a strain on Kats backyard!

I will do what I can to get the band together in the same place to do some messin round musically.......

setup a stage in the middle of the street / would that work?

Billy is now a confirmed yes on an XS11 .........

His bike is gorgeous and at 18.5k miles it has so much life left........ as soon as we get the carbs where they need to be.......

He's jonesing for another ride....... the one from Ft. Smith to Jax just wasnt enough...... well ok for me at least!

Possible Dyno

Just wanted to gauge interest. My Dad rides a 2006 Roadstar and knows the owner of a big Yamaha shop in Plano. He mentioned something about the rally to him and he might be intrested. I wanted to see if there was much interest in riding to the shop for a test and tune. They have a dyno and might make us a group deal. Please let me know who's interested and I will have Dad get us in touch with the owner.

Yeah Todd,

Since good running and proper tune of an XS is checked by doing wheelies, the dyno & HP numbers would be JUST for curiosity.

Life is good.

I'm planning on staying off the interstate and go through Palestine, Athens, Kaufman and then cut over on 20 at the last minute to swing around. That should keep us on fairly quiet 2 lane roads for the most part. And if you have anything extra to pack you only have to worry about getting it to Crockett because then you could stuff it in the minivan since SWMBO will be following us. Maybe some other members would be able to meet up in Palestine and we could add more to our group on the way?

You know I am in Jax but, I will probably ride 175 almost the whole way......... There will be two XS11s and SWMBO following in a cage...... We will be swapping the kids out often for riding purposes.........
