oh .. and a question ... the SN is 4R1-000291 ... i'm assuming that the 000291 part changes for every bike? What does it mean? It is an 81.

The 4R1 serial number denotes an 81 Venture, or Venturer. I'm not sure which name it went by. It should be a full dresser with a very large fuel tank.

For a bike that was left outside it sure looks good! I wish mine looked as good! Previous owner did not have a clue what a tarp was for and how to use one in Washington State! Rust rust and more rust!
