GNEPIG. The issue is not about the topic of the discussion but the conduct of the posters. The admins stopped the thread because people were being childish and rude, not because the thread was innapropriate.
I refered to the threadi n question because someone was asking what caused this post. It's a discussion about behaviour in general and it's my right to discuss that whether you like it or not. If you can't handle it, don't read it, or report it to a moderator. if they find profainty or blatant insults they'll deal with it. They won't, so what's your beef? Seems pretty simple to me. Posting in a thread to tell people to stop posting is a little bit of a double standard don't you think? Like someone who does a reply all to give someone else hell for doing a reply all.
There's nothing wrong with spirited debate, it's when people stoop to name calling, racism, nationalism, etc., etc. that it ruins it for everyone. I'd hate to think that I can't debate a topic with someone in here without them freaking out and acting like a 10 year-old.
You have me at a disadvantage as you clearly know more about the Honda site than I do. Never been there. And my God man, you're one of the most argumentitive people in here, been called on it before, so coming from you this is high praise indeed.
As for who you are, don't care, really really don't care....but your claim of being badder in real life than you are in here doesn't surprise me, kind of reinforces the point I was trying to make. I do, however, believe your claim that you've taken a few beatings over the years.
As for getting over it and talking motorcycles well:
a) this is the "idle talk" forum, we have forums for motorcycle talk and forums for non-motorcycle talk
b) why are you in this forum not talking bikes by telling me to only talk bikes if you only want to talk bikes? Could it be you just want to argue? Nahhh....can't be that, not you.
