Eastern Ontario Fall Ride.

Hey Folks,
I was thinking a ride through the Ottawa Valley countyside is in order within the next few weeks. Colours will soon be peaking. If you would like to join me, sign on here. I'm open to ideas too. The ride from Carleton Place to Kingston via Wesport is a good run, maybe meet up with oldbiker and mother goose. Up through Calabogie, Renfrew, Eganville, Killaloe, Barry's Bay maybe even a run through Algonquin Park, we could pick up Axel along the way.

That'd be great. The weather this weekend looks good. Not sure how everyone feels about the Saturday of the holiday weekend. The weekend of the 13-14th maybe good as well depending on Mother Nature.

Would love too but right now with workload, commitments to SWMBO and JR, I'm lucky to clock 100 miles on the old gal (the bike that is). Will try to budget time so I can get out next spring. Would really enjoy a ride with some other XSives.

Thanks giving weekend is not good for me but I'm game for a road run weather permitting for when ever it comes together. I will however point out that I am only good for about 4 hours MAX in the saddle time on any given route.

This Sunday PM, works for me. I am in Kanata, but can meet up almost anywhere. Sunday's weather is forecast 17C, variable cloudiness, 10% chance or rain.

Sunday sounds good. Providing I can get my rear wheel re-installed in time, along with the rest of the components, I should be able to make it. I'm with Rob though, about 4 hrs in the saddle is pretty much max.

Hey ELDR,

I'm thinking south, backroads and such. Richmond, North Gower, Merrickville.

We could go North too. Carp, Kinburn, Galletta ,Fitzroy Harbour, Arnprior.

Or we could just make up a route as we go!
