          Plain Ol' Balloon Festival?
          What was the funky stuff on the balloon in the 8th pic?
          We went to that festival some years ago, and it was a madhouse around there then, I can only imagine what it is like these days.

              I used to go to that, or one close to it, when I was younger. I don't rember it much except seeing them inflate the balloons.

                  As for the crowds, mom and I got the drop on em. We were on the road at 4:30am. The early bird gets the worm ( unless you are the early worm, then you get eaten )
