I almost always get between 42 and 44 no matter how I ride it.....Really hard still a tad over 40. If it's not tuned right...36. It was the same with my original MNS that I bought new in '80. The bike just seems to tell me when it's tuned just right...idle screws...sync...etc. Syn is REALLY important with these bikes though. Oh yeah..got the 48 MPG riding 2 up! Freaked even me out! Oh yeah.. the MPG is accurate too...always fill up to the same spot.
