You just named my usualy riding routes - add Quadeville, Denbigh , Latchford Bridge ,Shutt . I havent quite made Bancroft yet by that route or Highway 62 but plan to .
Killaloe, Wilno Barry's Bay ,Combermere ,Maynooth are great - Hwy 62 then turn right past Lake St. Peter to Whitney . I went through the Park to Huntsville once this summer.
I hear the Ompah ,Plevna ,Vennachar .Madawatchan run is good
Many routes to go - so little time

And, don't forget Palmer Rapids, Hardwood Lake, Eganville, Barrry's Bay, Hwys 132 (from Renfrew) & 41 to Griffith, on to Hwy 28 to Denbigh and on up to the junction of 28 & 514... a roller coaster ride coupled with million dollar views... a bikers dream! 28 to Bancroft isn't too exciting but, turn right and take 514 back through Schute to 515, right again to Quadeville and on to the junction of 515 and 512, with a quick stop approximately 1/2 way to briefly enjoy the rare feeling that your sitting on top of the world, looking 'DOWN' at the peaks of the mountains and hills that surround you. And, that's just the beginning.

And, let us not leave out our dear comrade, 'olebiker' by journeying down Franktown Rd./Cty. Rd. 10 to Perth/Westport/Bedford Mills/Perth Rd,/Missouri/Inverary and on to Kingston. Then, take your pick, right on Bath Rd. on through to the Loyalist Parkway in Prince Edward Cty. or, left on cty rd. 2 to Gananoque and hop on the 1000 Island Parkway. The choice is yours. Then, of course, you can always choose to tour through the 'Land of Lakes', the Muskoka's or, the Kawartha's. And, if you want the feeling of solitude coupled with the rugged wilderness, with a dash of being in the middle of nowhere, you can take a tour through Algonquin Park or, head west on Hwy 17, past the 'Bay', through Sudsbury (spelling intentional), past the 'Sault' and on to Wawa, where you may not see a single soul for days! (But don't stop there, you may never be seen or heard of again!)

How lucky we are to have, right at our doorsteps, just about any type of road to match the type of driving, the rider, the bike, the mood, the challenge, the scenery, etc.... and, all we have to do is just point and go. Granted, we may not have the 'Dragon', but, many of the roads in the areas noted above, will do more than stir the senses and thrill the soul and, with the exception of one, they're little more than a short distance from home and, all in an afternoons ride. All you have to do is go find 'em, then ride 'em

          Anyone up for a ride?????

You sure are right about the riding I don't have to go far unless I want mountains even then it's not far over the border into NY. We just did the loop down the Adirondacks and back up 100 in Vermont. I suppose there is better but short of Colorado I haven't been there yet.

              Colorado???

Gotta try Alberta to British Columbia... multiple routes.

Then, of course, you could always ride the 'Alps'... Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Italy. I was both fortunate and lucky to go to Switzerland and experience the Swiss Alps... they can be literally heart stopping and, fabulously awesome! (Haven't used that word in a while... good thing! )

You can experience most of the world just by traveling from one end of Canada to the other.....
