It was great meeting you and Axel. Three old farts riding around on 3 old bikes haha.
The cameraderie I've experienced both online and in person owning my second XS has been tremendous. This has been a great forum, and with the exception of some recent high-school cattiness, it's nothing like the other bike forums out there. Much friendlier and full of helpful information.
I worked 28 out of 30 days last month and the future holds more of the same. What little spare time I have will have to be spent on hobbies that involve my sons who are still too young for this.
So yep, I'm walking away from the bike and some other projects for a bit, but I'm sure when business a) either cools off or b) heats up to the point I can hire some folk to take some of the load off, I'll pick up another XS to tinker with. This forum and meeting guys like you and Axel is one of the reasons why I know I'll do it again. Bike #3 will probably be a special or maybe a bagger. Or maybe I'll cobble together what's left of bike #2 and make a total custom
In the meantime I like the idea that by parting out my current bike I will help some of you guys fix yours up even more.
Looks like the weather gods may smile on us after all. The rain and thunderstorms are supposed to be over by tomorrow morning. Should be clear and 28deg by noon!
Axel's buying the Ice Cap's btw!

I'm not a motorcycle mechanic but I play one on the internet.
Now that the monsoon has been called off I will be there as well. I don't know if mother goose is gonna come along on her baby maxim or not but I am gonna be there.
