Yeah .. but batteries don't do any thing for the soul. The smell of burning fuel, the roar of the engine as she lets loose. the smells and sounds are at least 1/2 of what draws people to these sports

Computer nerd here, and even I think that's just wrong.

Leave electric to those cramped little box-looking cars.

Can't tell what the bike started life as, but I can tell you the sound sucks. Reminds me of the wimpy electric chain saw my gay neighbor owns.

                  Hmm, Rob,
Perhaps that noise may be coming from a battery powered personal pleasure item delivered in a plain brown wrapper? Next time I hear the noise I may just have to look out the window and see if there is any timber falling... Good news is that this guy is terrified of motorcycles. Might be a bad vibration thing, huh?

one of my cycle mags friom a year ago or so had an electric honda cbr 600 it had a diamond plate box were the motr should be and it had several batteries in there it was ran about like a typical vtwin the guy said and it handled really well but i tihnk it would only travel about 80 miles before it needed to be charged.
i am not sure how it sounded though??? now that y2k bike has an interesting sound. i watched a video with jay leno talking about it. the thing had a weird throttle something about when you roll it on it takes a second or so for the power to come and then it all comes at once!
