What hair?? Have you looked in the mirror lately? Maybe it's the sound of the wind whistling thru the buzz cut is what you like.

Started with an open face, switched to a full face. Very rare that I don't wear a helmet, maybe a couple miles a year.

Helmets asorb some energy but pass the rest onto neck and shoulders. However, a guy I work with has a brother-in-law that is still in the hospital in Vernal, Utah. He and wife were riding, she with a helmet and he with nothing. Into the ditch. She got out with road rash, he has broken ribs and a bloddy ugly face, complete with broken nose. Full-face helmet may have saved the face and nose.

Not only do I wear the helmet 99.99% of the time, I also wear my leather jacket at a minimum, usually my full Tourmaster outfit.
