About four years ago my sis in law asked if she could take my bike to her special needs class at school and let them look at a real motorcycle(and has every year since),of course I said yes so I cleaned and waxed it,feeling a little proud. She made sure it was cold before they could get near it,(she rode it to school)she said it was a big hit, they loved it...haven't been asked to let her take it to school this year yet but I did learn one REALLY valuable lesson,it will come back with a thousand tiny finger prints all over it:-) Gotta love those kids..just felt like sharing.

One of the local middle schools has bikes in once a year and all of the kids that have accumulated enough good behavior points are allowed to come out and check them over. Lots of fun on both sides."If A equals success, then the formula is: A = X + Y + Z. X is work. Y is play. Z is keep your mouth shut." - Albert Einstein

DPOTTER,
That is great that the "good' kids" come and look at the stuff but in my opinion they don't need the motivation to be good, the parents have instilled the ability to be good in the kids already.
It was always my hope that these type of programs would reach the inner city type of kids(where the parents, shud say
( parent) can't give and maybe, just maybe get one to get out of that life style and be a productive person. Who kowns maybe another Ponch and John...........whoops they rode Kaws...'80 XS1100 SG
