Computer in the garage :-)

I have to rebuild my garage but when I do It is getting a computer. I am a sysadmin and have been working with computers forever, but the garage needs work before I can really use it.

Another good tip is to drill two holes in the bottom of the case and screw the case to the workbench/desk/whatever. Thieves usually only steal what they can get out with quickly and once you secure it in place they tend to leave it alone. The only downside is you need to remove the screws before you can move it.

That, and although they won't get the computer they will probably bend the hell out of the case, possibly breaking the mainboard, finding out it's bolted down!

If you really don't want it stolen, put 386 and Win 3.1 decals on it!
