  • Where to sell

Aside from this site, does anyone know where would be a good place to sell an XS1100? I am Southern California. Thanks

ebay, local papers... but non-XS enthusiasts are probbably willing to pay more. Depends on who you find.

It depends on how much you want for it. Recycler or penny saver are good if you want between $300 and $1200. If you want more than that the cycle trader or ebay would be better.

Thanks. I have no idea what to sell it for. Guess I will just take the best offer.

We have a local swap-sheet that comes out every week, what kind of condition is it in. Most XS's are worth around $1000 if they are in good running condition and have good tires etc. A bike that is sort of crappy looking with bad tires but runs good, in the $500-$800 range. Bikes with problems sell around the $300-500 range. parts bikes usually under $300. A bike has to be somthing special (well maintained, common mods done, looks great, runs great, low miles) to get $1500-1800 out of it. I see a lot of them in paper for $1800- 2000, only a hand full I've ever seen are worth this amount.

For an average running bike a good price to ask is $1200, and take a $1000. With pictures and a description of the bike I could tell you what I think it's worth.
