While I was on a trip to Estes Park CO. I stopped in Loveland and gave my Grandma her very 1st bike ride. She will be 106 on Aug 15th. I was just wondering if that is a record? Who is the oldest driver of a XS11?

Image link still not working. What did she think of her ride?
I doubt I am the oldest rider on this board but I am 49 and STILL racing around on motorcycles. Once it's in your blood ... that's it.

I'll be 67 in Oct and still RACING around on Pathfinder. Been riding for more than 50 yrs...... I did say riding, some say driving because they think they are in control. On a motorcycle you ride, because if you think you're in control, just look at those cages and trucks around you, on the cell, putting on makeup, reading the paper, text messaging, etc and you discover that you're not in control at all and at best just lucky to be alive....
That's amazing that grandma got to ride a MC at that age. I hope at 106 I'm still lucky and still riding.
You can't stay young forever, but you can be immature for the rest of your life...

I'm having trouble posting pics. Maybe I'll get it tomorrow.
She was giggleing for awhile then she said "I hope the neighbors are watching". It was 90+ degrees out that day so we didnt go far. She is in great shape for someone her age. Just a little hard of hearing.

About six years ago I took my 90 year old Grandmother for a ride on my Trike.
She later complained to my brother that we hadn't gone very far or fast enough!
Now that is too cool. At 106 her zest for life and new things has probably kept her soo young.
Not to change the subject, has your bike ever been on the road?Looks better than mine when I bought it new:-):-)
Say hi to Grandma from the 1100 gang..great picture by the way.
Some years ago a lady just a little younger that your grandmother told me that the only things that really belong to you are your memories so keep makin them. Yea for you and Go Grandma.
To STEPPENWOLF, That bike has 17K on it. I got it in March with 14K and have been working and riding as much as possible.
To patonga, Yes they are HD pipes. They were given to me by the local HD dealership. Seems like most HD riders want the really loud ones. I dug these out of the dumpster under their direction. A local muffler shop welded them on for me for $40. I really like the tone BUT, the center kickstand rests against them therefore not going all the way up. The day after the pic was taken, I bottomed out on a bump and broke off the right side one. These bikes are really loud without mufflers. A shop in Greely CO welded it back on. He said he was just "paying it forward" and didnt charge me anything. (I saw that movie also) I gave him $20 for some beverages of his chioce and we were off. Now, the center kickstand is off.
