There isn't a listing on there for the U.S. (unless I missed something ) I wonder if they'll sell it here.

I kinda dig the look of it....It's definately a more aggressive looking twin. Not all gaudy and overdone.

Maybe that's why they won't sell it here

I must admit I do like the retro kind of look. And hey, the price may not be too outrageous (outrageous being relative). I have been seeing HD commercials stating that their prices start at $6,500.00 or so for their stripped down small motor base model. I think they are finally realizing that all the metric V-twins are killing them in the US marketplace.

              Hey,
when you are selling 50 year old technology there's no shame in being "smoked" by a more modern design.

"Naked bikes" (i.e. sport street bikes without plastic fairings and a more upright riding position) are a somewhat popular variant in Europe. This model is probably intended to target that market. You don't see many naked bikes here except for the V-Max or the triples from Triumph.

Looks like the final drive is your typical HD belt, ugh. Would be killer if it had shaft drive.

                    Confessions of a motorhead

I know Harleys are right up there with religion and motor oil for controversy, but I'm all about diversity see.
                    I wouldn't mind having a wing, or a BMW, or a ZX14, or a Ducati ST4s, or a Guzi or an MV Agusta F4.
The new Buell 1125R is interesting, as is that XR1200.
My brother has a '59 Panhead chopper. Totally a pain in the ass to ride, but the thing is just plain cool.

I like some chevys, not all, some Fords, not all. Hell even a Tiburon looks like it might be fun, or a 300ZX.
                    I like my 1968 Firebird 400, and I like my 2004 Passat.
I like whiskey and scotch, and all kinds of beer, and lately I am developing a taste for gin and tonic.

Ting is, I like my XS just fine, but I like a lot of stuff and don't get hung up on brands or stereotypes. Its too limiting.
So many choices, so little cash.

BTW: Belt drives are about 99% efficient, shaft drives: not so much.

Well, I was drooling over one...
The problem is, you cant get a decent v2 plain old no nonsense bike here. Or they are too expencive or they look like you put a nice one in a blender and something comes out.
This is actually the first harley I would consider buying. If only it had nice metric bolts and nuts....
But what about the next best thing.... hmm... there actually isnt one. All you can get is a 25 year old TR1 or one of those voxan overpriced thingies that dont work. Suzuki made the SV, but thats a bit too.... I dont know... seems to complicated to work on, the 650 is too small and the 1000 is overpriced. Hondas VTR are too sporty (or im too old and fat), TL1000 is crap (possible future classic, like CBX1000, except that was a bit less of a crap, just expencive), honda NTVs are small and ducatis... well... that might be a contender.... I guess we will just have to wait and see

If it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game.

Brand bias aside, the fact is no matter your preference, it is still overpriced and under quality. Like Strom said too bad it doesn't have metric nuts and bolts, because your are going to need tools or a thick wallet.
