  • Laguna Seca/Moto GP/Cannery Row Bike Night

Bike nite is this coming weekend: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. DiverRay and I will be riding down from Santa Cruz Saturday afternoon, and would really enjoy having any other XSive riders join us. I could find camping space for 2 riders, and Ray sez he has a couch to accomodate 1 rider. Wanna ride to the Santa Cruz area friday nite, ride to Monterey saturday, crash (in a manner of speaking) on us Saturday nite and ride back Sunday? Here's your chance.

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
    I've been riding since 1959.

    Ed,
I'll be ready to ride down Saturday about 4:00pm. I'll be on a sail boat for a while in the afternoon. Who else can make it? We need more XS1100s, so we only have 2 or 3 hundred Harley per XS ratio. If it gets above 5 hundred to one, the Harley MIGHT be able to win one.

No job, no money, and a bald back tire. Sounds like fun but I can't make it.

Sorry to hear it pat. I'm looking for a new home, work is slow , but I just put new rubber on the front wheel, so I'm going for it!

FYI Ray, you'll be pleased to know that Harleys are in the minority there.
