  • Anyone hear from Chris Rawson?

I've been trying to get in touch with him, last email I received back from him was a few weeks ago. Anyone seen him 'round lately?

    Nope

I am still waiting on my brake lines that I ordered in May. Last e-mail I received was a couple of months ago and Chris said he would be making lines the following week. Had a real hard time getting him to answer e-mails. Don't think I will order anything else from him.

It does take Chris a while to get the break lines done and to you. I believe I waited about 5 months or so. He will get them to you. You have to remember that he does this on the side. I can verify that his product is excellent, but you have to wait a long time for it. It is a bit annoying but he has always come thru AFAIK.

Thanks Wayne, confirmation that you actually got your lines comforts me a little bit. I just wish I had the lines already b/c my front brakelines have developed a leak - guess thats what happens to 23 year old brakelines.

Well Snow, you may have already done this, but let Chris know you have a problem with your breaks and you need them asap. I would think he would try a bit harder to get them to you if he can.

Let me know how it turns out.

I bought my lines from Chris as well. Chris seems to be a straight shooter to me. I even had to order an extra rear brake hose and got that about 6 months later. I e-mail Chris about 3 months ago and asked that he verify the contact info in the brake line tip, and asked if he was still making them (since I heard the grumbling on the list) and he verified all info and told me to leave the tip up since he was still doing them. Let chris know you lines are leaking and he may do up a batch for you.
