Just finished the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Begining Rider Class with my daughter. WOW 13 hours on a bike under 20 mph really shows where your skills have to be polished. Great class, as has been stated in the Forum before. A must for any new rider and not a bad idea for any one else either. And in IL it's $23 thru most colleges as part of the Illinois Motorcycle Saftey Program, which makes it hard to get into.

P.S. SHMBO took it last week in 95 degree heat in full gear, my daughter and had to "suffer" in the low 80's. All three of us passed.

At $23, I'd take it every year. It's $175 here.

    It's worth it though....

I paid a little under $200 here in Texas, and that was through a community college and the MSF.

Also in Illinois you can get $20 of your fee back or donate it to the cause. After all the work the instructors put into the class no one had the heart to ask for their money back, we all felt it was the best $20 we'd spent in years.
